So, it's no big secret that I am a fan of the Tolkien universe of Middle Earth, as I am sure others are. However, my infatuation extends to the point where I've translated my own (and some friends') names into Quenya elvish. In doing so, I found out that I really enjoy the process, so if anyone would like me to do the same for you, feel free to post whatever name you wish for me to translate, and which elvish you would prefer (Quenya, or Sindarin)

If you do not feel comfortable posting your real name in the thread, feel free to message me whichever name you'd like, or maybe post a nickname instead!

All translations will follow this format:
Dorian, Alexander, Swift (The actual name)
    Wind-storm, Guarding-man, Swift (The name's meaning)
    Alagos, Tirithidain, Legrin (Final translation)

I always thought this was cool because not only do you get to find out what your name means (as most western names come from nouns), but you also get a long, unpronounceable handle you can throw around and have people go "Huh?".
